Bishop Ackerman Council of the Knights of Columbus in Burlington, KY, awarded Zach Gutzeit of Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Burlington, KY, the 7th Annual Memorial Scholarship at his 8th grade graduation on May 22, 2010.
The scholarship provides tuition assistance to attend St. Henry District High School in the amount of $1000 per year for four years. It is awarded based on academic merit, financial need, and other criteria.
This year the Scholarship was awarded in memory of Past Grand Knight Clarence Boh, Sr. who was the first Grand Knight of Bishop Ackerman Council when it was formed in 1963.
