As I get ready to move into a second year as your Grand Knight, I would be remiss if I didn’t thank everyone who helped me get through the first year. A special thanks goes out to Brother Dean, Brother Fred, Brother Keith, Brother Ray, and Brother Dennis who gave me direction as I navigated through different situations.
Another group of thanks goes out to people like Brother David, Brother Chuck, Brother Rick Bose, Brother Don, Brother John Doubrava, Brother Eric, Brother Ron, Brother Allen and many, many more, who were there to jump in and help out in many ways or try new ideas.
Looking back, I have to say that we have had an incredible year and it’s not over yet. We are 2 members away from our membership goal and 2 members away from our Insurance goal. If you know of someone who would like to be a member of our council, the time is now. If you are in need of insurance, please contact Bob Sheil at 513-254-7373.
This organization was is and always should be about the membership, there needs and there families needs. I serve at your will for as long as you want me and as long as I can. I am not about points or awards, but more for recognition of efforts and jobs well done. I believe that if you do the right things for the right reasons, the awards will follow.
Brothers, we have a growing list of “right things” that need to get done and I need your help. As our world changes, we must change also. There are many new projects and opportunities for us to shine as Knights. Let us all step up and be counted for evil comes in many forms. It may present itself as a barrier like a wheel chair ramp that is needed to allow someone to carry out their mission or as abortion, not allowing a life to come into our world to bring change and show there light to us all.
Please answer this call so that we can effect more change in the world.
