Council Location
The Bishop Ackerman Council 5453 is located on the grounds of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish in Burlington, Ky. The Grand Knight for 2010-2011 is Mike Madden. You can contact the Knights by phone at (859) 689-5010 x 274, or by email at info@kofc5453.org.
Council Meetings
Business Meeting: 2nd Monday of every month at 7:30 PM. Council members only.
Council Mass and Social Meeting: 4th Monday of every month at 7:30PM. This meeting is open to the public. Spouses, family members, and friends are welcome.
Notes: Business meetings which fall on a recognized Holiday are generally rescheduled. Mass/Social Meetings falling on a Holiday are generally canceled.
Rosary Devotion
The Council hosts a 24 hour Rosary Devotion at the Council Hall. The Devotion is usually held from 12 Noon on the first Friday of each month, until 12 Noon on the Saturday following. Prayer is led by a member of the Council or a family member. Prayer cards and guides are available. For more information, please email rosarydevotion@kofc5453.org.
About Our Council
Bishop Ackerman Council 5453 was founded in 1963. It was named after Bishop Richard Henry Ackerman, the Seventh Bishop of Covington (1960-1978)] The Bishop Ackerman Council 5453 works closely with the 4 of the Boone County Kentucky Parishes (All Saints, Immaculate Heart of Mary, St. Paul and St. Timothy).
