As a result of of the Diocesan Hour of Prayer, the Mass/Social at our Hall is cancelled. In its place, everyone is asked and encouraged to attend the Holy Hour at IHM which will begin at 7 PM, led by Msgr. John Schulte, pastor of All Saints Church in Walton.
I assume that the reason this is so, is that most folks, reading the first paragraph, probably felt they were reading Greek, interspersed with a few English words.
Brother Al Hadler, Sr. died Friday night in a car crash in Union. The accident occured just after 7 PM. His wife Angela was injured in the crash.

The Knights of Columbus has moved up 29 places in Fortune’s annual ranking of America’s 1000 largest companies this year according to the recently released Fortune list.
Fortune’s 2011 list ranks the Knights of Columbus – a fraternal benefitsociety – at 900 in total revenues. It ranked 929 last year.
